In December 1997, the FAB published "Our Patch" (ISBN 0-646-34692-X), a full-colour field guide to the plants of Aranda bushland, in which most species are illustrated. The book is a paperback, staple-bound, has 96 pages and is 210 by 120 mm. A grant for purchase of film and to assist with publication costs was received from Environment Australia. Loans were received from members of local environmental organizations in the A.C.T. to cover printing costs.

The book is available at many shops in the A.C.T. (e.g. the Coop Bookshop, National Botanic Gardens Shop, Australian National Library Shop, and the A.C.T.
