A Scribbly Gum E. rossii in the Aranda Bushland

The bushland provides a unique example of a frost hollow and a transition from the grassland of the frost hollow through a grassy woodland, up the slope to a dry sclerophyll forest.

Aranda Bushland contains several species of eucalypts with a marked change of distribution according to altitude.

There is a self-guided walk that passes through the snow gums, then crosses woodland and climbs the hill to Aranda Bushland, and finally returns to Caswell Drive, taking one to two hours.
